About The Artist
In 2015 Anna Pausch graduated from Massachusetts College of Art and Design (MassART) with a BFA in Printmaking and a minor in Fiber. Since living in Boston, central New York she has nurtured her Woodblock body of work from Denver, CO. From plein air sketches on hikes to printing in the studio each piece embodies a piece of humanity in our environment.
Having grown up four season backpacking in upstate NY and Canada, I fell in love with the beauty and power of our natural world. Moments of being lost in the snow to foraging mushrooms installed humbleness and gratefulness. Through my hand carved tradional woodcuts and their respective prints of landscapes and floras I hope to instill respect, beauty and hope in our natural world.
