La Quinta Art Celebration bi-annually selects Tools For Tomorrow as their primary non-profit partner donating to their mission to bringing inspiring cultural programs in after school programs to children in Coachella Valley.   Please join us in supporting this new project to buy children’s literature books related to the topics taught and read in TFT’s Creative Clubs, and then each child is given that book to own and take home to share with siblings.

Children’s books engage a child, facilitating their wonder, curiosity and interests. Introducing children to books paired with music and hands-on art projects encourages them to become readers and storytellers, building skills, confidence and understanding.

Your donation to this project will support 1 or many books.  A $20 donation will purchase 1 book; a $50 donation will purchase 3 books, a $100 donation will purchase 5 books, and a $400 donation will purchase books for an entire classroom!  Make your donation at the INFORMATION BOOTH near the entrance today, or donate online at  www.toolsfortomorrow.org!

Founded in 1999, Tools For Tomorrow provides free after-school arts literacy programs integrating creative writing, art, music appreciation and theatre for children ages 7 to 11. TFT has served more than 21,000 children in the Coachella Valley. More than 90% of TFT students are socioeconomically disadvantaged, 83 % are Hispanic or Latino, 35% are English learners, 11% have disabilities and 6% are homeless.

During the 2023-2024 school year, TFT served more than 1200 students in 27 schools (15 schools in PSUSD and 12 schools in Desert Sands USD) plus a summer program at the Boys & Girls Club in Cathedral City.  TFT plans to reach another 1200+ students this year.
